Yes policies mature in 20 years time
How long is the waiting period?
Waiting period is 3 months for the policy holder and immediate family , 6 months for the dependents
What do i do when death comes knocking?
Vineyard should be notified of death within 48 hours. For death in the home- firstly notify the nearest police station to ascertain the causes of death and Vineyard will come for body removal to the mortuary.
Death in the hospital- the hospital staff will notify the police at the hospital police post and advise them of the existence of policy with Vineyard. They will notify us.
What happens if i cease payments maybe due to loss of employment but would have contributed for so many years?
Failure to make payments on a policy for more than three months will result in the lapse of that policy. However, if the policy has been maintained with payments for five years, the grace period will be determined according to the provisions outlined in the policy document and in accordance with the Insurance Act.
How does one join?
